Athena Diecsh-Chamm
Athena earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from North Dakota State University in 2004, and her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota in 2011. It was during her time in graduate school, specifically during her Clinical Internship that her calling in Clinical Social Work presented itself.
A Modern Approach
Working with college students and graduate students in higher education, as well as working with professionals and the veterinary community. Learning how to manage stress, burnout, and moral injury and moral distress, as well as educating on the importance of sustainable practice and meaningful self-care.

Individual therapy
Group work
Online or in-person, this time will be spent evaluating your physical and mental health to provide medication to alleviate mental health symptoms. This service includes Couples Therapy, Team Crisis Debriefing and Situational Team Debriefing.
Education and consulting
Online or in-person, this session will help you with what you care most about and develop a plan to achieve personal and professional goals. This service includes Mental Health and Wellbeing Continuing Education, as well as Veterinary Social Work Consulting, Evaluation and Program Development.
